Every person who is able to speak is also able to sing. While not everyone is destined to become famous with his voice, with patience, diligence, and the right guidance, everyone can develop and train his voice. By the way, personality and voice are closely intertwined, and so your speaking voice reveals a lot about you. Are you interested in getting to know yourself and your voice better?

As an experienced vocal coach, Katrin looks forward to welcoming interested students of all ages who want to further develop their voice and expand their musical repertoire. In addition to a thorough training of the singing and speaking voice, fostering joy in singing and music is of particular concern to her. The content of the holistic vocal lessons include individually tailored body work and breathing techniques (among others, following the Schlaffhorst-Andersen method), as well as a broad repertoire study based on Bel Canto. Students benefit from Katrin´s own stage and concert experience in improving their performance skills and handling stage fright. She has acquired her many years of pedagogical experience in individual and ensemble teaching of students of all skill levels through her work at various state and private music institutes in the metropolitan area of Stuttgart and Nuremberg, as well as through preparing and accompanying many students for competitions and exams. This is complemented by annual professional development training at the Association of German vocal coaches (BDG) in the fields of “Classical” and “Rock-Pop/Modern Music”, which specifically trains, tests, and certifies participating vocal coaches in the areas of voice physiology, methodology and didactics, as well as the interpretation of various musical styles. As a regular member of the professional associations BDG and Tonkünstlerverband Bayern (TKVB), Katrin is committed to regular participation in further training courses.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person lessons were not possible for a long time. Therefore, Katrin has undergone specialized training in online teaching and has developed a creative teaching concept that allows for productive voice work from home. Of course, this format cannot and should not replace in-person lessons, but it offers the opportunity to use difficult times for personal voice development.

For weekly individual lessons, students under a yearly contract will be charged 60.00 Euro per lesson. Adults can also arrange individual lessons at a rate of 75.00 Euro per session.
